Welcome to Wine Teaching! Wine Teaching was started by Vridhi Tuli in 2009 to spread wine education across the world. Vridhi loves to research, write and talk about wine. Vridhi holds a Master's in Education degree from Stanford University and a Bachelor's in Psychology degree from Stanford University.
Vridhi also finished summer school in L.S.E. and in Harvard University. In her free time, Vridhi loves singing, painting and reading.

Vistamar Cabernet Sauvignon

From Central Valley, Chile, comes a great cabernet called "Vistamar." I had Vistamar on my way from New York to North Carolina. I sat on the plane and thought I would have wine. Then I decided that I would try one of the cabernets. Vistamar comes from the Central Valley in Chile. I asked the air host what wines they serve. "We have a cabernet sauvignon and an sauvignon blanc he said." I said, "I'll try the cabernet sauvignon." "It's $7 please." "I'll give it to you when I get my bag out of the top cabin at the end of the flight. Is that ok?" Dave gave me the Vistamar and I tried it out. Here are my tasting notes: The aromas are earthy, oakly, and vanilla. The taste is that of fine wood and cherries. Overall Rating 7.5/10.

"Wine is bottled poetry." — Erin Morgenstern As this quote suggests, having a sip of a perfect red wine is like hearing poetry from Robert Frost, or Oscar Wilde. Wine is music to our ears. As we explore the amazing world of wine, in today’s post, let’s deep dive into an amazing old-world wine called: the Tempranillo. What exactly is a Tempranillo, you might ask? Well, a Tempranillo has the following characteristics: it is medium to full bodied red wine, it’s color is medium to deep ruby, it has three fruity flavors – blackberry, cherry and plum, as well as herbal and savory flavors such as tobacco, herbs, earth and leather. Tempranillo will never cease to exist. It comes from three regions: 1) Rioja, Spain, 2) Ribera Del Duero, Castilla y Leon, and 3) Walla Walla, Washington. Each of these three regions, offers a different varietal of the Tempranillo. For example, if you would like a wine with plum, crushed herbs, earth and vanilla, look for a Tempranillo
