The Prioritization of Bordeaux Wine | The #1 on the Eisenhower Matrix

As Carrie Bradshaw put it, "I save my carbs for wine. It's called priorities."

Of late, I've been having an amazing intellectual fascination for Bordeaux. Bordeaux, which is a region in France is one of the best full-bodied grapes out there. From my readings of Jancis Robinson, the great wine writer, if you look at the bottom of the bottle of any wine, is a number. The number on the current bottle is 44.

Most recently I tried the "Petales d' Osoyoos." This wine, which is a mix of Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot has flavors of berries, wood, red cherries, as well as raspberries. The wine is smooth and is has a very smoky taste. It would be paired very well with a Filet Mignon, or then with a nice Halibut or an Atlantic Salmon.

There are three key aspects of this wine which are worth remembering:

1) The font on the bottle is quite fine and different from the rest

2) The amalgamation of wonderful flavors is amazing as well. It is a very full-bodied wine

3) The wine has an amazing after-taste - it's smoky, yet very light on the palate.

Re-define the wine experience. Go ahead and give the "Petales d' Osoyoos" a try. It definitely will add some spark to your wine tasting journey. Merci Beaucoup for reading this. Au Revoir.
