Wine is an interesting subject

Wine is an interesting subject.

When we write about wine, we get so much knowledge about grapes. You should study about wine because it helps you understand the wine better. Here are some of the things to study about in wine:

• Study about the grape: Wine is made in many grapes. The most common ones are Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Gewurtztraminer. Did you know that these grapes are used to make wines of their name sake. Another interesting grape is the cabernet franc. I have usually had cabernet franc wines on my trips to Australia, U.S. and Europe. It’s a sidekick grape meaning it is a side grape used to make wine – not the main grape. It is used in conjunction with cabernet sauvignon.
• Study about the bottles – There are bottles of 750 ml and of 375 ml for different types of wines. For example : a good Seghezio Zinfandel 375 ml vs a Yellow Tail Merlot 750 ml.
• Study about the wine: Red wine comes in forms like Merlot, Pinot Noir, and white wine comes in forms like Pinot Grigio, Gewurtztraminer and Pinot Blanc. My favorite wine is a Pinot Grigio because it is extremely fruity.

So in order to understand wine, I studied the grape, the bottles and the wine.
